Choose Your Flag Kit

Both kits include a printed flag, a pole set, a canvas carrying case and a ground stake — the difference is in the hardware.

Single-Sided vs. Double-Sided

• Single-Sided — The +95% ink saturation of our dye-sublimation process creates a mirrored image on the back of the flag. Lighter weight means better movement in the wind, and Single-Sided Premium Gorilla kits include our 2-year pole warranty.
• Double-Sided — Two single-sided flags sewn back-to-back with a blackout layer between them, so the front and back show the same image with no mirroring. The added weight means slightly less movement in the wind, and no warranty is available on double-sided kits.

Sizes & Specs

Feather flags are approximately 28" wide and available in three heights, measured with hardware assembled: Small (9'), Medium (12') and Large (15').

Sizing tolerance: finished dimensions may vary by up to 1 inch on small format items, or up to 10% on large format items.

Artwork & Design

Have print-ready art? Upload it directly during checkout — set your file up at full print size with a 1" bleed on every edge (for example, art for a 3'x8' flag would be built at 38"x96"). For the sharpest results, we recommend a minimum of 100 ppi at full print size. Starting from scratch? Download a template from the resources above, use our online design tool, or hire one of our designers if you'd rather we build it for you. Once you order, our design team reviews your artwork and sends a digital proof with unlimited revisions before anything goes to print.

• Using AI-generated artwork? Most AI image generators output low-resolution files. Your art must meet at least 150 DPI at your actual print size (300 DPI is always recommended) — you may need to run it through an AI upscaling tool before submitting.
• Check for artifacts: Review AI-generated art at 100% zoom before you submit it. AI tools can introduce spelling errors, distorted details, or blurred backgrounds — we print exactly what's provided, so fix these before sending your file.
• File format: Export as a high-resolution PNG, JPG or PDF. If your AI tool generated a logo or graphic, we recommend running it through a vectorization tool first and submitting it as an AI, EPS or SVG file.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Standard and Premium Gorilla flags?

Premium Gorilla flags use a heavier, double-walled base and a metal pole for long-term outdoor placement, and only Single-Sided Premium Gorilla kits include our 2-year conditional warranty. Standard flags use a lighter fiberglass pole and single-wall base, best suited to shorter-term or seasonal use.

Can feather flags be set up on pavement or concrete?

Yes — choose the bundle option that includes a Cross Base, which is designed for solid ground instead of the standard ground stake used in grass or dirt.

Will my flag fold over or curl in the wind?

No. The pole is fed through a reinforced sleeve pocket at the top of the flag, and a clip secures the bottom to the stake or cross base, keeping the flag open and taut even in calm conditions. For flag longevity, bring your display inside if winds reach 30 mph or more.

Should I choose single-sided or double-sided printing?

Single-sided flags are lighter and move more freely in the wind, with a naturally mirrored image on the back from the dye-sublimation process. Double-sided flags show the same image on both sides but are heavier and move less.

Is color matching necessary?

Because dye-sublimation results can vary slightly between proofs, we recommend a Pantone color match any time exact brand colors matter. Note your Pantone number in the design instructions and we'll follow up to confirm.

Can I wash my feather flag?

We don't recommend it. If washing is unavoidable, hand or machine wash in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent — be aware this can darken the ink and remove the fabric's satin sheen.
