Custom Fabric Banner Printing

Our custom fabric banners are printed on soft, matte 7 oz polyester using dye-sublimation — a process that infuses ink directly into the fibers of the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. The result is a lightweight, wrinkle-resistant banner with rich, photo-quality color and a smooth, glare-free finish that's ideal for indoor displays, trade shows, church lobbies, retail backdrops and stage settings.

Helpful Resources

Choose Your Fabric Banner Material

All fabric banners are dye-sublimation printed for deep, fade-resistant color that becomes part of the material itself — not a surface coating that can crack, peel or scratch off.

Matte Fabric (7 oz)

A lightweight, opaque polyester with a soft matte finish. Wrinkle-resistant and easy to fold or roll for travel, it's built for indoor environments where a premium, non-glare presentation matters.

Fabric Banner Sizes & Orientation

Available from 1' x 1' up to 9' x 30'. Choose Landscape (horizontal: H x W) or Portrait (vertical: W x H) orientation, and print Single-Sided or Double-Sided depending on how your banner will be viewed.

Need a custom banner size that isn't listed? Select the next size up and note your exact dimensions in the design instructions — we'll trim it to spec at no extra charge.

Sizing tolerance: finished dimensions may vary by up to 1 inch on small format banners, or up to 10% on large format banners.

Finishing Options

  • Grommets & Hemming — Sewn hems with rust-resistant metal grommets placed every few feet for hanging, included at no extra charge. Grommets are placed 1.5" from the fabric's cut line.
  • Hemming Only — Reinforced sewn edges without grommets.
  • None — Raw cut edge, no finishing.
  • Pole Pockets (optional) — Sewn pole pockets available on the top, bottom, top & bottom, or both sides.
  • Pantone Color Match (optional) — Match a specific Pantone color for brand consistency. Provide your Pantone number in the design instructions.

Safe zone: keep all important artwork, text, and logos at least 2" inside the edge on fabric banners so nothing is covered by the grommets.

Why Buy Your Custom Fabric Banner From Us

Fabric banners are a different animal than vinyl — we build ours around what makes fabric worth choosing in the first place: dye-sublimated printing for color that's part of the material, not sitting on it; a lightweight 7 oz polyester that's easy to hang, fold and reuse; a matte finish that eliminates glare under stage and showroom lighting; and sewn construction that holds up to repeated setup and teardown.

Artwork & Design

Have print-ready art? Upload it directly during checkout — we recommend vector files, or high-resolution raster images (at least 150 DPI at full size) for the sharpest results. Starting from scratch or need a template to build to the correct bleed and safe area for your size? Download one from our artwork templates page linked above; we offer sized, print-ready templates with bleed and layout guides built in for every product we sell. Once you order, our design team reviews your artwork and sends a digital proof, typically within 24 hours, with unlimited revisions before anything goes to print. You can also design online using our built-in customizer, or hire one of our designers if you'd rather we build it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a fabric banner and a vinyl banner?
Fabric banners use dye-sublimation printing on a soft 7 oz polyester, giving you a lightweight, matte, glare-free finish that's easy to fold and travel with. Vinyl banners use a heavier, stiffer material better suited to outdoor and high-wear installations. For outdoor use, see our Custom Vinyl Banners.
Are fabric banners good for indoor use only?
Yes, our matte 7 oz fabric is designed for indoor environments — trade shows, stages, lobbies and retail displays — where its soft finish and portability are the main advantages.
Will my fabric banner wrinkle when folded for storage?
The 7 oz matte polyester is wrinkle-resistant, so it travels and stores well, though we recommend hanging it for a day before an event if it's been folded for an extended period.
Do I need grommets on my fabric banner?
Grommets are the standard way to hang a fabric banner with rope, zip ties or S-hooks, and they're included at no extra charge with our Grommets & Hemming finishing option. If you're mounting to a frame or pole instead, Pole Pockets or Hemming Only may suit you better.
How accurate is the finished size of my banner?
Finished dimensions may vary by up to 1 inch on small format banners, or up to 10% on large format banners.
