What is a magnetic sign?
Magnetic signs and business magnets are a type of signage that will adhere to ferrous metals magnetically. One side of the flexible material will be printed, and the back is a magnetic material. These are sometimes referred to as advertising magnets or business magnets, and magnetic advertising has benefits of being versatile and easily moved.
Will my magnetic sign leave any residue when I remove it?
These magnets do not leave any residue. One of the benefits to using magnet signs is that they’re easy to position and remove without harming the custom magnetic signs. There is no glue involved in these magnetic adhesive signs, so your sign can be placed and moved several times.
Can I make personalized magnets?
Yes! All of the magnetic signage that we sell is fully custom. You can create your own magnet by uploading an image file or using the “Let Us Design” or “Design Online” options.
Can my magnet logo be cut to shape?
We do not currently offer sizes that are cut to custom shapes, but we may be able to make exceptions for larger orders. If you’re looking for custom sized magnet signs, just let us know as we may be able to offer this in the future.
Can I use these magnetic decals as magnetic door signs?
Yes! These magnets can be placed on metal doors, freezers, menu boards, and various other places. As long as a magnet would stick to the surface, you’ll be able to place these magnetic signs on them. The benefit of these flexible magnetic materials is that they can even stick to curved surfaces!
How do I clean my magnetic signs?
These can be cleaned using water and very mild soap mixture, but don’t use harsh detergents or any abrasives to scrub the printed side of the material. Wipe gently with water and then dry with a soft cloth or towel before reapplying to a new surface.
How long will it take for me to get my custom magnets?
These custom magnets typically take about 5-6 days to get printed. If you have a tight deadline, be sure to let us know and we will let you know whether your timeline is able to be met.
How do people use their magnet signs?
There are lots of ways to use these magnetic signs. We’ve seen them printed for things from menus and daily specials to reminders for kitchen staff to go on the freezer. Magnet advertising can be used to grab attention, and switching up your signage is easy with these magnetic decals. It’s been tested that people tend to notice signs more when they’re new or different, and even rotating between a few signs can gain more attention than having the same display. It really depends most on what space you have available and what messaging you’re looking to use.
Turnaround
If you place your order before 3 pm Central (M-F), you will receive a proof the same day, usually within 3-4 hours. If you place your order after 3:00 pm Central (M-F), you will receive a proof the next business day, usually by 12:00 pm Central.
Approve your proof before 10 am Central, M-F, and this item will ship within 5-6 business days (M-F). Orders approved after 10 am Central will ship in 6-7 business days.*

Finishing
Printed on magnetic PSV with matte finish, reducing glare from the sun and keeping your message visible. Matte lamination is also available for an extra layer of protection against scratching and fading.
Instructions & Care
Use water and mild soap to clean the back of the magnet and installation surface and wipe dry before applying.
Art Specs
Recommended files: PDF, AI, PSD, JPG, TIFF
Set up your art file at full print size, no bleed necessary. As an example, art for a 3’x4’ sign would be set up at 36”x48”.
For best print quality, we recommend a minimum resolution of 100 ppi at full print size. For example, an image that prints at 24”x24” would need to be 2400x2400 pixels or greater for best results.
